Barog Station, ShimlaThe Barog Railway Station, which is very close to the Tunnel no. 33 is known for frequent paranormal activities. It is said that Colonel Barog, who constructed this tunnel, committed suicide here after facing severe humiliation by hisworkers. He had shot himself in this tunnel and was buried here. People believe that since then his ghost wanders in the tunnel and haunts people. There have been incidents when people have experienced his presence in the tunnel that felt too negative.Naini Railway Station, Uttar PradeshAlthough, no one has ever seen a ghost here, but many people have felt something negative, which is too strong almost giving them a headache. People believe that the negative energy is the result of crying freedom fighters who perished in Naini Jail, not too far from the station.

The ghost story of this room is that a Computer Reservation Officer, Subhash, who loved his job, had died working here in 2004. People say that his love for work does not let his spirit leave the room even after death. It is said that during nights, both ends of the platform get deserted. The story is thata CRPF official, Hari Singh was attacked on duty on a New Delhi-bound Kerala Express on October31, 2013. Hari Singh, who was seriously injured was taken out of the train at Chittoor railway station and admitted in a nearby hospital.Later, he succumbed to injuries and people believe that his ghost hovers over the platforms insearch of justice.Begunkodor Train Station, West BengalThis Station was closed for 42 years because of the haunting that was troubling it. The story goes that a woman in white saree keeps appearing here from nowhere and whoever sees her, dies on the station itself.

The last incident in 1967 led to the station remaining shut for 42 years. However, Mamata Banerjee reopened it for the people.Patalpani Railway station, Madhya PradeshThe Britishers threw a freedom fighter Tantya Bheel’s dead body near this station. His spirit is believed to haunt the railway station since then.Rabindra Sarobar Metro Station, KolkataThis metro station is said to be haunted by the ghosts of all those who have died here. A record number of passengers have committed suicide in this metro station, by jumping into the way of an oncoming train. People have claimed to see shadows on the empty platform during nights along with loud screams. She is also not in a white saree and does not hover by. All she does is scream along beside the train, with her eyes and tongue bulging out. Her story is the usual one that she died here on the station a few years ago in an accident. Since then she has been haunting the station.Sohagpur Railway StationThis station gets deserted after sunset as no one dares to loiter here. It is said that a lady ghost sitshere on the station for the whole night and screams. Her screams are so loud that people notvery far from the station can easily hear her.
