THE MOTTO OF THE DAY

THE MOTTO OF THE DAY

According to theosophy, all of Life is divine. The potentialities and opportunities to see sacredness within and without are limitless, therefore.

Only one's karmic limitations can makeit difficult to acknowledge the fact that harmony and justice are at the core of every conflict, and universal love surrounds all human activity.

There is no serious difference between self-knowledge and the knowledge of others, or between these two and the knowledge of cosmos.Personal pride and vanity prevent real self-esteem. Having true respect for oneself is the same as having respect for everyone else.

THE MOTTO OF THE DAY

Self-control implies renouncing to the Causes of wrong actions.

It means giving up attachment to outer objects and blind automatism in our behaviour.

One of the first steps leading to self-control is the practice of an impersonal self-observation, in which we avoid both self-indulgence and self-condemnation, and focus instead on self-improvement.

One's lower self must see itself as an imperfect yet loyal disciple of one's spiritual soul.

THE MOTTO OF THE DAY

THE MOTTO OF THE DAY

After deciding he wants to live a more meaningful life that transcends material routine, the truth-seeker starts doing things that are in accordance with the goal.

He realizes that his main tool is his own lower self. The task of knowing such an instrument and using it with efficiency takes more than one lifetime. The pilgrim has to exchange several times an old tool for a new one, before fully learning how to work with them.

However, immediate time is important in the building of a long-term trajectory to eternal wisdom. There is a lot that can be learned and many useful things may be performed in each incarnation which will open his horizons.

Each moment and every cycle of 24 hours is complete in itself, with its own meaning, its own lessons and lasting beneficial effects.
