Notice what happens

Notice what happens when you take time to appreciate the details of your immediate experience– what does it sound like, what does it look like, what does it taste like, what does it feel like? Live fully engaged in your NOW. Savor it.

‪#‎GratiTuesday‬ Challenge: Today, take a 20 minute savoring walk and LEAVE YOUR PHONE AT HOME. It sounds trite, but taking time to "smell the roses" has, in fact, been proven to enhance happiness. In this age of hyperconnectivity, it’s all too common to walk down the street with your eyes glued to your smartphone, unaware of your surroundings. Even without a screen in hand, we're often distracted or in a rush, and miss opportunities to absorb the everyday things in our environment that make us feel good. Savoring walks train your senses to notice the abundance of beauty present in the mundane...magic is all around patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper!
