Hanuman - Pavan Putra
In the Great War of Dharma against Evil, Lord Rama required the assistance of a General whom could battle against the Great Lord of Lanka, this was no other than HANUMAN.
Maharishi Valmikh used Hanuman to symbolise the practice of Pranayama, Hanuman is symbolic of soul-controlledlife-force - prana, and symbolises the vibratory air element in the dorsal.
The Soul (Rama) through one-pointed concentration (Lakshman) must neutralise the prana and aprana through pranayama (Hanuman).
