Often we feel we have to put masks on with different people and show a side of us which is not our truth. Or we feel we have to hide that shadow side of ourselves as if we're the only one who has one. You are being called to embrace your unique self, even if you feel you are quite different from the norm. The thing is, there is no such thing as the norm. For all we know, the people we think are the norm are also hiding behind masks of what's their true being. So love who you are, for all your unusual idiosyncrasies and even the things you think are not your greatest traits and embrace being you. As you do, you give others permission to do the same.
